Building a Responsive, Accountable Union City
As a software engineer and a father, my work and life are built on two fundamental principles: fixing problems that don't work, and building a safe, prosperous future for our children.
Having lived in the Bay Area since 2008 and proudly calling Union City home since 2021, I love our diverse, vibrant community. But I also know local government can—and should—do better for our residents. I'm running for City Council to bridge the gap between residents and city hall with a problem-solver's mindset, an open-door approach, and a commitment to clear communication and decisive action.
-
Enhance Public Safety & Neighborhood Security
Support our local first responders and ensure fast emergency response times. Invest in smarter street lighting, traffic-calming measures, and community watch initiatives to keep our kids and streets safe.
-
Expand Smart, Affordable Housing
Champion responsible, balanced growth that allows working families, seniors, and young professionals to afford living here—while ensuring infrastructure and city services expand alongside new developments.
-
Support Local Businesses & Economic Growth
Cut unnecessary red tape to help local entrepreneurs thrive. Attract new businesses, vibrant dining, and retail options to expand our local tax base without burdening homeowners.
-
Create More Recreation & Family Entertainment
Invest in modernizing local parks, sports fields, and community centers. Bring more family-friendly entertainment, community events, and youth programs to Union City so families don't have to travel elsewhere for fun.
-
Accountable & Transparent Leadership
Ensure strict fiscal oversight so every tax dollar delivers real value. Hold regular open listening sessions and office hours—ensuring every resident's voice is heard at City Hall.
